One of the parts I love most about my career is working in different countries with all different kinds of families. This wedding was tropical meets luxe in Lausanne, Switzerland. A wedding at Hotel Beau-Rivage Palace is never one to miss, and this one was truly unforgettable. I loved working with our dear clients and getting to know their families through the design process and destination experience.

This special event had an ultra-special cake and dessert buffet in addition to overhead florals in picture-perfect purple. And the ceremony was awe-inspiring in a room worthy of such a special celebration.

The ceremony was clad with sofas and unique seating positioned facing the middle of the aisle. The ceremony stage was dressed with florals, trees, and an altar no guest soon forgot!

The mirrored aisle made the room feel larger. It allowed the flowers to shine from floor to the tops of the trees as they touched the ornate ceiling.

The perfume bar for guests was a highlight for me. I love creating experiences for people to create memories from.

The reception was a nod to tropical flowers in a range of purples. It was an unexpected twist that the guests oohed over as they entered the room.

In almost every Alejandra Poupel Event, we host an elaborate dessert buffet. This night was no exception! With a play on the tropical style, we even included tropical fruits with the traditional French and European sweets.

The cake was a spectacular design created and embellished by a world-class pastry chef. It tasted as good as it looked!
