Today I want to show you a little behind the scenes from a recent Lebanese wedding at the Intercontinental Hotel Paris le Grand we produced.

While we can’t share with you too much about this lovely couple, I can show you the beautiful decor and some of the ideas we brought to life in this grand Paris wedding venue. Since the event took place in November in Paris, we chose an indoor wedding venue. The family welcomed 450 guests from Lebanon and around the world to celebrate the union.

It was very important for the guests to feel a crescendo feeling. Thus, we started with an amazing monument and icon in Paris.

To begin the weekend we welcomed guests to a welcome event at Petit Palais. The location brought in the important cultural aspect of the city to the wedding. Then the wedding took place at Pre Catelan, since it’s like receiving guests in your own private castle.

The clients wanted to end the celebration on the same opulent and elegant tone as the rest of the events. The historical landmark, Salon Opéra, was the perfect place for their brunch reception. It was important that guests would be wowed until their last goodbye. A wedding at the Intercontinental Hotel Paris did just that.

For the decor, we teamed up with the talented Daniel Ost for florals. The event design from the day before had been so elaborate that we were able to rework the flowers into this venue as well.

The autumn colors fit perfectly in the space and that “wow” that the couple wanted still existed.

These lively guests had partied the night before until 5am. Because of that, we knew we had to cater to how everyone would be feeling that morning. We even hired a detox bar specialist! They created specific drinks with fruits and healthy additives right in front of the guests.

The entertainment was also designed for the daytime. We hired The Troubadours, an incredible acapella group that dazzled the guests without overpowering the morning. We wanted to create a light and cheery mood in the room and the music did just that. The group went around from table to table to sing classics and take requests. By the end of the brunch we had to politely usher guests to leave. They all wanted to stay and sing around the tables! paris-wedding-venues

Since the couple had hosted a welcome dinner the night before, we wanted to weave that into the brunch.

We had an aquarellist, Maerta Wydler, make a drawing of the welcome dinner live and we presented it to all the guests at brunch. The result was a wonderful surprise! The couple then later used the image on their personal notes from the event. aquarelle-le-petit-palais-maerta-wyller

paris-wedding-planning While this family opted for a brunch wedding at the Intercontinental Hotel Paris, the celebration certainly wasn’t lacking, despite the time of day. This large group had one incredible party across several days and we couldn’t have had more fun planning it! lebanese-weddings-paris
