The intimate and authentic Italian villa is also known for its breathtaking gardens and incredible views of the lake. Those views span both directions, the Tremezzina side and towards the Comacina Islands.
Villa del Balbianello boasts a grand staircase and three ivy drenched arches loggia that make a perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony. For cocktail hour, invite your guests to the luscious gardens that offer large spaces with awe-inspiring views of the lake for dinner and dancing to follow.
The property is owned by the Italian national trust and it serves as a museum as well, though they are open to welcoming private events.
The venue capacity is 130 guests maximum. There is an inside area with large veranda and windows in the event of rain, but the guest count must be adhered to.

Insider tip
Reaching the villa by boat is very impactful. The gardens leading to the villa have amazing Instagram-worthy perches and backdrops. Though I always recommend having golf carts on standby for any guests who prefer not to walk the path. I also suggest purchasing heel protectors for the ladies’ shoes as well – we give these out as guests disembark from the boats.
