I love to work at unique properties, especially those that are usually reserved as private spaces or public galleries and museums, transforming them into one-of-a-kind wedding venues. For example, some of the spaces we’ve worked at include the Musée Rodin, Palais Garnier, and the Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte.

Creative lighting

It’s incredible how modern lighting technology can truly revolutionize your venue! You can completely change the look and feel of a space (or even an exterior) by projecting different scenes or lighting effects around the room. It’s also a great way to transition a space from one part of the event to another, such as cocktail hour to the reception, or dinner to party time.

First impressions count

The entryway to your wedding is one of the best ways to leave a big impression on your guests. Whether it’s a huge floral installation or unique entertainment, it will start things off on the right note. For example, at one of our recent weddings, the entrance to the reception featured statement rose floral pieces along with models draped in red gowns that flowed down the steps of the chateau like a red carpet. It was a unique and memorable way to welcome guests to a historic venue!

Bold attire

Speaking of stylish gowns, your wedding attire is another way to really make an impression on your guests. Whether you choose a sumptuous ballgown or a chic modern silhouette, your wedding dress should be a masterpiece. Fortunately, Paris is exactly the right place to make that happen! As you design your couture creation, it’s important to consider how the dress will appear during your walk down the aisle. You might wish to add a long train or veil if you have a long aisle, for example. You may also want to consider surprising guests with a costume change or two as the night goes on! And there’s no reason the groom can’t be just as stylish and unique – or that he has to wear one outfit all night.

Fireworks may not be a new idea, but there’s a reason why they never go out of fashion. They are always spectacular and guests love them! There are ways to take fireworks to the next level and wow your guests. For example, at one of our weddings, we hired a full orchestra to accompany the display. In fact, incorporating live music into any part of your celebration is always a showstopper.

Surprise is always a key factor when you want to wow your guests! I love to grab their attention by including human statues and unusual, interactive elements to the day, especially during cocktail hour.

From live painters and magicians to ballerinas and opera singers, synchronised swimmers to aerialists, there are endless ways to inspire and entertain your guests.
