Planning a wedding in Paris is a romantic endeavor regardless of the venue you choose, but very few are as enchanting as the Musée Rodin. Nestled in the heart of the city, Musée Rodin is so much more than a museum with incredible art. It’s a favorite of mine for the Versailles-style gardens, central location, and the magnificent Rodin sculpture collection. Here’s everything you need to know about hosting your special day at this iconic French monument.

The Venue: Where Elegance Meets Art

Located in the 7th arrondissement, the museum is conveniently situated near famous landmarks. Its expansive gardens offer a rare combination of privacy and accessibility, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the beauty of Paris while celebrating your love.

Musée Rodin’s interior is just as impressive as its exterior. Renowned for its sophistication and charm, the elegant architecture complements the masterpieces within, providing a feast for the eyes and a romantic setting for any wedding.

The Wedding: Experience History Amidst Celebration

There are many options available to you on the grounds of Musée Rodin, from the bassin to the facade to the vibrant rose garden. Consider using all of the spaces offered throughout the evening so guests can naturally explore and take the rare private journey through the museum.

For intimate weddings of up to 60 guests, the museum can be privatized, allowing for an intimate dinner setting with dancing to follow. For weddings with up to 300 guests, we utilize a transparent structure in front of the museum, providing stunning views of the gardens and museum facade.

After Dinner: Let The Party Begin

Dancing outside is not permitted after 11 PM in central Paris, but don’t worry–we’ll make sure all the high points are made. If showing off your best moves is important to you, guests can be transitioned to a soundproof tent where the party can continue until 2 AM. Here, they can dance the night away with a DJ or a full band, ensuring that the celebration isn’t interrupted.

Note from Alejandra: Did you know that the Musée Rodin is the only wedding venue in Paris that allows firework shows and lantern releases? If you dream of a crescendo sendoff at the end of the evening, this is your venue!

Normally, guests arrive at 7:00 pm, but we can have cocktails or a ceremony in the fountain area starting at 6:00 pm.

A wedding at the Musée Rodin promises an unforgettable experience filled with elegance, art, and romance. From the beautiful gardens to the stunning interiors and the unique opportunity to incorporate fireworks, this venue offers everything you need to create the wedding of your dreams. As you plan your special day, consider the Musée Rodin—a place where love and art come together in perfect harmony.
