Lebanese-wedding-in-Paris This Paris Destination Wedding took place at the gorgeous Le Pré Catelan. The couple came in from Lebanon while their guests flew in from around the world to celebrate with them. The bride and groom are fluent is French, so Paris was a fitting location for their destination event. By hosting a destination wedding, it helped the couple keep their guest count intimate, by Lebanese standards (only 450 invitations were sent).

For a Paris destination wedding of this size, we had a limited number of historical and grand wedding venues that could accommodate such a group. But we found the perfect location.

When our clients saw that Le Pré Catelan was only 15 minutes from Paris and in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne, surrounded by lakes and extraordinary gardens, it was not a difficult choice.

And as an added bonus, the venue is exclusively catered by one of the best caterers in France, Lenôtre.

The church has incredible decor so it was perfect.

That meant that many of their guests from the US could attend. Thus, we felt rich autumn tones such as reds and oranges would suit their vibrant personalities and the time of year of the event.Paris-wedding-planners Our clients were attracted to a sculptural design so we needed to work with Daniel Ost, titled “The World’s leading Floral Designer”, and his daughter Nele Ost. This duo has already impressed the whole world, especially with their floral compositions and garden creations.

It was a wonderful process to share their vision and see it come to life through drawings and renderings of the grand decor, and eventually this beautiful finished look.

The idea was to have different heights and different florals on each table. None of them looked alike and the branches and styles were all in different directions. The custom made centerpieces had never been seen before and will never be seen again! That is one of the best things about working with Daniel Ost.

Our clients were art lovers.

The names of each table were dedicated to different paintings with a romantic connotation, such as “The Kiss” by Klimt or “Kiss II” by Roy Lichtenstein which you can see below. For the entertainment, we hired the Inspirations Band and had 10 electrical violinists to welcome the guests upon their arrival. They played Lebanese and Arabic favorites on the second dance set that had all the guests very hyped and dancing late into the night!destination-wedding-Paris Paris-weddings   Thee family being from Lebanon, one of the things they wanted most was for everything to be delicious and elegant. They also wanted guests to say this was the most fun party and that they never wanted to leave the dance floor. So we brought in the best band and designed the room accordingly. We offered four cocktail bars within the dining area for the entire portion of the party.

This allowed guests to mix and mingle even during the seated portion of the dinner. Friends were welcomed to have a drink next to the dance floor.

The flow of a Lebanese wedding is always with the dance floor in the middle. When guests arrive to welcome the couple there is a first dance set of about 25 to 30 minutes. Then, after the entree another 15 to 20 min set of dancing. Following that, the singers go around the tables and sing live during dinner for even more entertainment. Then, after the cake cutting, we again get everyone dancing again. We opening up a dessert buffet so that guests can either eat or dance at their leisure together.

Great food, great music, and great community made this night one to remember!
