While the bride and her mother wanted an elegant wedding, the groom wanted to show their guests a great time. So they asked us to create a rocking wedding after party, with a bit of a wild twist!
It all started at about 2 am, when twelve Brazillian drummers appeared and invited guests to the after party. Accompanied by the drummers, guests made their way down to the Club Dauphin pool. When they arrived, they walked through an arch with a neon sign that said: “To infinity and beyond”. This was the bride’s idea, and we had it custom-built for her.
Like the reception, the after party required an extensive set-up. We had two semi-trailers and a helicopter dropping all the fly cases and the structure beside the pool. To recreate a nightclub atmosphere, we had six CO2 machines and a laser. We also had a 36 sky tracer to light the sky, and a projector to change the color of the water. All of this required two blocks of power generators.
We also set up lounge areas in silver and white to create a cozy, intimate feeling, which worked beautifully with the lights. Guests were treated to champagne bars and specialist mixologists making signature drinks. The groom loves rubber duckies, so we also had two giant rubber duckies made, and placed them in the pool for fun!
It really was the perfect end to an incredible day.
