Over the years, I’ve worked with many couples planning a destination wedding in Paris, and the City of Light still never fails to wow me with how magical it can be. From incredible cuisine and grand venues, to amazing music, flowers, and scenery, Paris has it all! However, planning a destination wedding in Paris comes with its unique challenges. It helps to have an insider’s perspective to guide you along the way. Recently, Destination I Do Magazine interviewed me about tying the knot in the City of Love and I was delighted to share some of my top tips!
The interview covered lots of useful information, from some of the biggest difficulties in getting married in Paris to how much time it takes to plan one of our destination weddings. I was asked for some ideas for guest activities, as well as my top five Paris wedding venues. It was so hard to choose, but I managed to narrow it down to five standout properties! One important tip I mentioned was to plan a photoshoot with the Eiffel Tower in the background if this is something that’s important to you, as very few venues include a view of the landmark. It’s these kind of insider tips that really make a difference when planning your destination wedding in Paris. All the more reason to hire a seasoned local wedding planner!
Destination I Do is a wonderful resource for couples planning a destination wedding, no matter where in the world. As well as practical advice and real celebrations, they focus on romantic honeymoons and getaways. For example, this Spring 2020 issue features 25 beautiful places to tie the knot. (Of course, Paris will always be my favorite!)
