Aside from taking them to a magical and sumptuous place to travel, we have other ideas to spoil your guests during your wedding.

A destination wedding is more than just an event. It is an incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience that will be cherished not just by the couple, but by their guests as well. Memories are made. Bonds are formed. New experiences are shared. And of course, the next chapter in a love story is begun! Making your destination wedding into a truly memorable one requires good planning and flawless execution, but it is also about those special touches that elevate the experience for attendees. The extra things that will make your guests feel pampered and special, are those that will set your wedding apart.

Here are a few ways you can treat your guests in five star style at your luxury destination wedding in France and beyond.

Fly them all private

Travelling to a destination wedding is often one of the most uncomfortable and time-consuming parts of the whole weekend. Charter a private jet to turn it into one of the most glamorous! Jetting guests from airport to aisle is simply the most chic ‘something borrowed’. It will get your guests into vacation mode from the minute the champagne is poured and the plane leaves the runway.

The most beautiful chateau in France, Château de Vaux le Vicomte, is about one hour away from Paris. So often times, we transport the bridal party or all the guest by helicopter which we can land directly on the property.

Provide them with on-call transportation

Having cars available at your guests beck and call will not only ensure they make it to the church on time. It will also allow them to fit in any little shopping trips or excursions they wish without throwing out everyone else’s plans. Older guests will often also appreciate being able to head back to their hotel early while you dance the night away at the after party.

Set up a gifting lounge

Take a cue from your favorite Hollywood celebrities, and invite your guests to a gifting lounge! It makes a fun alternative to the usual favor or goody bag. Set up a small, beautifully-styled area and stock it with a selection of small gifts, artisan snacks and mini bottles of champagne. Guests are able to choose a selection to take away in their personalized bag or tote. It’s fun, and also a great opportunity to greet guests in person as they arrive.

Plan a yacht trip

Forget the traditional rehearsal dinner – treat your guests to a scenic sail aboard a luxury yacht. It’s great way to promote group bonding, while also allowing them to enjoy your wedding destination in style. Or instead of planning your luxury yacht trip before the big day, make it a farewell event the day after. It’s the perfect way to see your guests off in style.

Provide beauty services

Make your female guests especially feel extra special with in-room hair and makeup. They’ll look their very best at the wedding and feel pampered and relaxed. You can also surprise them during your event by including a beauty bar.

Of course, even if you include one or more of these treats in your wedding planning, it’s important to remember what it’s really all about. Write each of your destination wedding guests a personal welcome letter. Take time throughout the weekend to talk to them and spend time together. Thank them warmly afterwards for being there with you. Sometimes the most meaningful gift is the one that costs nothing at all.
